The Human Rights Campaign along with Servicemembers United held a press conference in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia as part of the Voices of Honor tour to build support for repeal of the failed Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. The event attracted tremendous media attention including the local ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates, Al Jazeera, CBS News Radio, local NPR and talk radio stations, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Bucks County Carrier Times, the Philadelphia Public Record, the Neighborhood Leader, the Advocate and the Associated Press.

Gentrification: A Voice About Destruction

video and photography by ZACHARY BENNETT

This project took 2 months to create. It's not finished, and I don't think I will finish it. I would like to just document this piece through current and past photos of the area that are, as I write, undergoing gentrification, rather than from the POV of an extremely biased source. That may be more effective.

There's a small discrepancy in the beginning of the video where the video returns to the opening slide. It continues after about three seconds, so please keep watching :D .
